Stories

Faces of Ivy

Aiden Parker 6th Grade Student

Before joining the entrepreneurship program through the IVY Education Foundation, Aiden had big dreams but little direction. Today, he speaks confidently about solving real-world problems through innovation.

“This program helped me see possibilities I didn’t even know existed. I don’t just dream about ideas anymore I know how to build them.”

Aiden is currently working on a student-led sustainability app to help reduce cafeteria food waste.
Mr. Jordan Carter Social Studies Teacher

Mr. Carter has always believed learning should spark curiosity not just test scores. The IEF grant allowed him to integrate entrepreneurship and innovation labs into his classroom.

“I didn’t just see students learning skills I saw them discovering their voice and confidence.”

His class developed three community service micro-projects, including a student-run mental-health awareness campaign.
Pine Hills Elementary Franklin County, USA

With IEF support, Pine Hills Elementary transformed an unused classroom into a “Dream Lab” a creative maker space where students learn robotics, storytelling, teamwork, and financial literacy. The school says student engagement has skyrocketed especially among early-learners who previously struggled to participate.

“Our students aren’t just learning they’re believing in themselves.” - Principal Sarah Townsend
